90-Day Roadmap to $30K/Month with an AI-Assisted Agency
The Honest Truth Before We Start My name is Daniel Fazio. I've collected over $30M over the past four years across SaaS, done-for-you, and consulting offers. And yes, I'm going to walk you through a 90-day plan to go from zero to $30K a month with an AI-assisted agency. But I want to be straight with you first: the probability that you actually hit $30K in 90 days is low — especially if you've never done it before. Has it happened with people I've worked with? Absolutely. Daniel Werner went from zero to $30K a month in three months. Others have hit $10K to $20K in six weeks to three months. But those are outliers, not the rule. Okay, with that out of the way — here's the exact plan. --- ## Phase 1: Validation (Days 1–30) The only thing you're trying to prove in the first 30 days is that one stranger will pay you money for a marketing service. That's it. Not revenue. Proof. ### The 5 Business Models That Actually Work Forget vague advice like "sell a chatbot." That doesn't work. Here are the five models beginners can actually sell to cold traffic right now: - Lead generation
Ads and funnels
Content marketing
E-comm email
AI automation specific builds ### Start With Performance-Based Pricing When you have zero case studies, you lead with performance pricing to remove risk for the client. Using a lead gen agency as an example, it looks like this: > "I charge $500/month for infrastructure — domains, inboxes, and leads. Beyond that, you only pay when a qualified meeting shows up on your calendar." The client risks a maximum of $500. You don't need a guarantee on top of that — the performance structure is the guarantee. This makes it easy to sign multiple clients fast. You batch load them, get results for the ones you can, and fire the ones you can't. Simple. ### How to Get Those Clients Cold outreach: Pick 10–20 niches and send messages via email, LinkedIn, Instagram, or X. Don't be clever. Just say what your offer is: > "I can book meetings for you on a purely performance basis. You only pay when qualified calls show up." Dream 100: For higher-end prospects, generate a free AI deliverable upfront — a sales page, VSL script, ad copy, email flows — and send it with your offer. Tell them you'll implement it all and only charge on results. That's a hard pitch to ignore. Phase 1 success metric: One signed client on a performance basis. Ideally two to five. --- ## Phase 2: Volume (Days 31–60) You've signed your first few clients, you're getting results, and you can open a screen share on a sales call and show live proof. That's a game changer for close rates. ### Action 1: Automated Cold Email at Scale Invest some of your early revenue here. Buy 30–50 secondary domains, set up 100–200 inboxes, warm them up, plug into SmartLead, and send 1,000–2,000 cold emails per day. The script stays the same — state your offer clearly, skip the corporate jargon. ### Action 2: Use AI for Fulfillment Feed AI your client's offer, target audience, and cold email examples that are working. Have it generate 20 variants, test them, analyze results in SmartSuite, and scale the winner. Fulfillment time per client drops from 15 hours a month to about 2. Without AI, you're capped at three to four clients. With AI, one person can manage 15–20. ### Action 3: Document Everything From day one, track every metric — cost per call booked, show rate, meetings per week, revenue generated. Screenshot everything. Record Loom walkthroughs. Build a case study doc. These assets are what close clients at higher prices later. Phase 2 success metrics: Four to six paying clients, $8K–$15K/month in performance fees, documented case studies, 1,000 cold emails/day running on autopilot, and you're working 20–25 hours a week — mostly on sales. --- ## Phase 3: Pricing Power (Days 61–90) You've got five or six clients and cash flow is starting to feel real. Most people stop here. Phase 3 is where you close the gap between $15K and $30K. ### Raise Prices on New Clients You started at $500/month plus performance. Now you have proof. New clients should be quoted on retainers — starting around $2K/month and moving toward $5K/month as your case studies stack up. ### Switch to Quarterly Billing This is a cheat code when you're ready for it. Locking clients into three months upfront improves cash flow dramatically and guarantees a floor on churn. You can't have 50% monthly churn if you already collected three months upfront. That said, if switching to quarterly tanks your close rate, go back — you probably need more case studies first. ### Make Your First Performance-Based Hire No $5K/month salaries here. Hire whoever is bottlenecking you most and pay them only when they produce. If you're spending four-plus hours a day on sales calls, hire a closer at 10–12% commission. If it's client communication, hire a CSM with a small base plus churn prevention bonuses. If it's lead response, hire an appointment setter paid per showed-up call — not booked call. ### Build a Referral Machine Offer existing clients 15–20% of recurring payments for referrals. Some clients will end up paying you nothing because they've referred enough people. That's a good problem to have. Phase 3 success metrics: $30K–$50K/month, new clients on retainer or quarterly billing, at least one performance-based hire, 10 sales calls per week, churn under 15%, and AI handling most raw fulfillment. --- ## What to Do If You're Behind - Zero clients? Your offer isn't in your outreach. Rewrite every message to say: "You only pay when I get you results."
