If you're running an agency or thinking about starting one, I need to be straight with you: 99% of agencies as we know them will be dead within the next two years. Not maybe. Not probably. Dead.

Right now, my business services over 800 active clients across multiple offers. These clients need cold email scripts, ad copy, funnel pages, VSL scripts, email sequences, lead magnets, webinar presentations — dozens of different deliverables produced and delivered every single month.

Take a guess at how many people I have directly producing those deliverables.

Five.

Five people servicing 800+ clients. We can produce over 100 cold email scripts per day. A competitor running the same business without AI would need 60+ people to match what we do with five. Their gross margins sit around 15%. Ours are 70–80%.

That's not a small difference. That's a completely different business.

AI Is the Entire Explanation

The secret isn't some vague AI automation agency. I'm not talking about selling chatbot buildouts or white-labeled AI tools. I'm talking about using AI to completely replace the human labor component of traditional agency fulfillment.

Every deliverable that used to require a human copywriter, designer, or strategist? AI produces it immediately, at a fraction of the cost, and the output regularly beats what most freelancers deliver. AI analyzes thousands of high-performing examples — stuff that actually worked — and produces deliverables based on that. Better than an $8,000/month copywriter in a lot of cases.

Most people are afraid of this because they're operating on an employee mindset. They think their edge is their ability to write copy or design emails. That was their identity. But execution-level skills don't differentiate you when AI can do that work at scale for pennies.

Here's the part that should matter to you: this is the only time in history you can start an agency, sell a service, and immediately produce expert-level deliverables as a complete beginner. There's no more "spend 1,000 hours getting good." The AI handles the execution. You handle the strategy, the client relationships, and the business development. The winners of 2025 to 2030 won't have big teams of VAs, copywriters, and media buyers. They'll have a laptop, a few high-paying clients, and AI doing 90% of the fulfillment at 80% gross profit margins — working 20–25 hours a week and out-earning people grinding 80 hours a week under the old model.
