How Kyle Hit $70K/Month with His Recruitment Agency Using Cold Email and Twitter Ads

With Facebook, you spin up any random page and run ads, and you get people booking calls who don't even know why they're on the call. It's a mess. But with Twitter, people actually go to your profile. If you've been doing content and have a few thousand followers — which isn't hard to build — there's social proof baked in. People see that others they follow also follow you. It compounds.

Tracking is still a nightmare, I'll be honest. You're basically jerry-rigging it with UTM codes and doing a lot of manual reconciliation. Hopefully that gets better over time, but it works — and that's what matters.

Cold Email

Cold email has also started to perform really well. Kyle is sending around 400 emails a day, and the key unlock was pairing that volume with a VSL.

The VSL Was the Game-Changer

This is the part I really want to hammer home, because people fight me on this constantly.

Kyle had a VSL built by Steven, it went live on October 25th, and it had already paid for itself by November 10th. That's how fast it works.

Here's the mental shift that made it click for him: Kyle used to sell high-end headphones at Bose in college. He was the number one sales associate in California as a part-timer. But when he looked at why he was so good there, he realized it was because Bose did all the heavy lifting. The brand, the marketing, the recognition — he was basically just an order taker. Kyle's situation is unique. He lived in Ukraine for five years. His wife is Ukrainian, his daughter was born just seven weeks before this interview. He genuinely cares about connecting talented people from the region with great opportunities in the West.

His agency places project managers, CTOs, CMOs, automation engineers, developers, CSMs — not just VAs. Premium talent at a price point that makes sense for growing businesses.
