Let's say I run a marketing agency and want to reach e-commerce companies. Here's the build:

• Go to Technologies, browse, and select every Shopify-related technology → instantly surfaces 72.3 million people at 1.1 million companies

• Add Country: United States

• Add Total Employees: 11–50 and 51–200

• Now at 5.5 million people at 246,000 companies

Then I switch to People Filters and add job titles: CEO, Founder, Owner, VP, CMO, Co-Founder. That narrows it to 310,000 people at 114,000 companies — a focused list of decision-makers only.

Use the Data Visualization Tab Before You Extract Anything

• Result: 26,900 people at 10,000 companies

I can layer on additional keyword filters — like "case studies" or "advertising" as a service — to qualify the list further. That pushed mine up to 29,300 people. Highly targeted, ready to extract.

Extracting Your List

Once the search is built, click Next Step. You'll see the exact number of matching contacts. From there you can:

• Set a max of one contact per company to avoid duplicates

• Choose exactly how many leads to pull (e.g., 1,000)

• Exclude contacts from previous searches so you're never hitting the same people twice

Hit Redeem Credits and the system runs. In my own test, 1,000 leads extracted in about 10 minutes.
