How to Spawn Profit from Nowhere

I want to talk about how to find money — how to spontaneously animate dollars out of absolutely nothing.

My name is Daniel Fazio. Last month we did about $68,000 in cash collected, mostly from a done-for-you offer. I'm not one of these guys whose entire income comes from selling consulting. What I'm going to share is real-world application. You can go find money right now.

The People Most Likely to Pay You

Not all leads are created equal. There are different groups of people who are more probable to give you money at any given time, and you need to work them in the right order.

1. Past Clients

The people most likely to pay you today are the people who have already paid you before.

If you want to make $5,000 right now, spin up a one-time offer — maybe a setup package, a consulting intensive, a done-with-you hybrid — and contact every single person who has ever given you money. Every one of them. The message is simple:

"Hey [name], I know we worked together a while back, but I just came up with a new offer where I will [X]. Is that something you'd be interested in? Let me know and I can give you a call."

That's it. If 20 people have paid you before, expect to get four of them on the phone. If 100 people have paid you, expect 40 calls.

I did this exact thing about two weeks ago. I found everyone who had bought a one-on-one consulting call with me and offered them a full consulting intensive. I messaged six people. One guy came in at $5,000. Done.

2. Warm Leads

The next group is anyone who has given you their email or phone number — anyone in your CRM, or anyone who has positively responded to a cold outreach message. These people know you exist. They probably like or trust you to some degree.

Do the same thing. Spin up that one-time offer and contact them one by one — manually. Send an email, send a text, make a call. A substantial portion of these people will be interested.

3. Social Media Followers Who Engage

If someone is commenting on or liking your content, they know, like, and trust you. Go to one of your posts, scroll through the comments and likes, and send a manual message to each person.

Open 30 tabs if you have to. Message all of them. You'll get five to ten positive responses and one to three people on a call. Close one of them and you just made $5,000 from literally nowhere.

"But What If I Don't Have Any of That?"

If you have no past clients, no CRM, no social following — then you need to start making content. That's the answer. Your business runs on energy flowing through a system, and the first input is front-end traffic: cold outreach, content, or ads. If there's no energy going in, there's no throughput. Start creating.

The "What Happens After" Trap

Here's the most frustrating question I hear: "But what happens after I use up my warm leads?"

This question drives me insane — and I mean that with love — because it reveals a massive mindset problem.

We did over $680,000 last month. I spend $5,000–$6,000 a day on ads. And even at that scale, I still do one-off outreach and one-time offers. If I'm doing this at that level and you're not doing it at your level, that's the signal.

Here's the thing: nothing is ever truly infinite. Anything continuous is just a series of one-offs executed repeatedly. A monthly retainer income is a series of one-time sales. A recurring client can churn whenever they want — just because someone's on a monthly package doesn't mean they pay forever.

The ammo analogy: imagine you're a marine in the desert with three magazines. The enemy is right in front of you. Are you going to sit there asking, "But what happens when we run out of ammo?" No. You use the ammo in the fight that's happening right now. That's the entire point of having it.

You need money now. You have warm leads now. Use them.

Stop Making Up Hypotheticals

Another version of this problem: people invent fictional disasters that will never happen.

I was on a call with someone recently who asked me if mentioning lead generation on email number three of his cold sequence would "cannibalize" his system optimization offer. I'm like — no. If they weren't interested in the first thing, offer them something else. That's not cannibalization, that's just sales.

You make up situations that don't exist and use them as reasons to do nothing. Stop it.

The Simple Truth About Business

A business is just this: spin up an offer, ask people if they want it, repeat. That's it. Do that over and over and you have a company.
