From Amazon FBA to £80K/Month: How I Built an AI Automation Agency with Cold Email
I never planned to run an AI automation agency. A year ago I was selling Amazon brand management and scraping leads off Fiverr. Now we're doing £80K a month — roughly $110K — with 95% of revenue coming from cold email. Here's exactly how that happened.
Where It Started: Amazon, Logistics, and Referral Hell
We started in Amazon FBA. Scaled it, made decent money, then poured profits into a logistics business — don't do that, by the way, the margins were awful. Along the way, we got very good at one thing: systematizing processes. Building workflows that ran themselves.

The result: we run 44 systems that would cost a business £70–80K per month to staff traditionally. We deliver that for around £8K. That arbitrage is the entire business model.
Our Guarantee — and Why Most People Are Scared of Theirs
We offer a £5K payout if we don't hit agreed deliverables within 90 days. People ask how we can make that offer. The answer is simple: we're confident we can deliver.
If you're not willing to back your offer with a guarantee, ask yourself why — because that's exactly what your prospect is thinking. If you can't give one, you're asking someone to trust you with their money while you're not willing to put skin in the game. That's a snake oil position.
The guarantee also rallies the team internally. Everyone knows the consequences if we don't perform. That pressure is genuinely useful.
High-Ticket Sales Is a Completely Different Game
When I first joined Client Ascension I told my girlfriend that selling something for £10K would be the most amazing thing ever. That was less than a year ago.
High-ticket doesn't work as a one-call close. We traveled four hours, three times, to meet that £120M company before we closed them. We have six-page proposal documents, case studies, testimonials, and referrals. It's proof stacked at every layer.
Most people think they have a lead gen problem. A lot of them actually have a sales problem. They try to force every conversation into a rigid box instead of treating it as a negotiable process. That rigidity kills deals that were right there for the taking.

What I'd Tell My Earlier Self
Stop focusing so narrowly on lead generation. It's foundational — but if you're bringing in five clients a month and losing five, you're working yourself to death to stay flat. Retention and fulfillment are the flywheel. Fix those first.
And zoom out. Understand the full end-to-end journey your client walks through. When you can say you are here, you need to be here, here's how I get you there, and here's a guarantee it happens — that's when selling stops feeling hard.
