If something went wrong — like the AI kept using em dashes — I had to update every single prompt manually. That took hours. Now I run a global system through Claude with a shared GitHub repository. If I want to change something across the board, I update it once and it applies everywhere. What used to take hours now takes 10 seconds. ### AI-Assisted Outreach and Niche Targeting Outreach was another area I leaned into AI. Instead of positioning myself as just another ecommerce email marketer, I use AI to identify more obscure, specific niches. You're not going to stand out as email marketer number 74 in someone's inbox that day. Going niche makes outreach easier and more effective. I'm also working on scaling my Dream 100 strategy using AI to research and personalize at a level that wasn't possible before. ## What My Days Actually Look Like Now I spend zero time on fulfillment. I check Slack, I hop into Figma to review designs, and I work on making my team better. The rest of my time goes toward refining our AI agents and dialing in outreach. I have a team member running the email system I built. We operate in the same shared system, which keeps everything consistent without constant back-and-forth. Stress levels? Significantly lower than a year ago — even at double the revenue. ## The Advice I'd Give Someone Starting Out If you're at zero or even at $5K–$10K per month, here's what I'd tell you: Hire sooner than you think you need to. I waited too long, and it kept me trapped in fulfillment. Once you know what you're doing, get help so you can move into an operator role as fast as possible. Find people who are ahead of you and actually listen to them. There's no shortage of coaches and advice. Pick two or three people who have done what you want to do, and follow their path closely — especially at the beginning. Don't underestimate AI. I thought I knew what AI could do. I didn't. Once I started building real agents instead of just typing prompts into ChatGPT, everything changed. ## Where I'm Headed My next goal is $50K per month, with $100K as the longer-term target — all with a small, lean team. Freedom is the underlying goal. Being able to go golf in three hours. Having my daughter knock on my door and actually being able to stop and play with her. That's what this is really about.
